Thread: admin abuse

Today, there was a player on that apparently goes by two different names. I forgot the first name, but the second name he uses is [CDG]Death Warrant. When I entered the server earlier today, he was hiding in corners on Terrorist side and telling everyone how much he owns and being disrespectful. So, I in turn was disrespectful. When Cyanide comes in, he starts telling me to stop. When I stop, Death Warrant continues talking shit, calling me a "troll" and I could list everything he said, but it wouldn't solve anything. Anyway, so apparently Cyanide decides to spec me. I rebuy a nade one time and he slays me, tells me to stop nade spamming, and tells me I need to be respectful, but says nothing to the other guy.

Then after being slayed a couple more times for accidentally rebuying a name (I hit B->R by habit in spawns), I just decided to leave. I didn't even throw any of the nades, but he wanted to harass me anyway.

Then, I came back in the server just now and the same thing. Death is going around insulting people and saying how good he is. So, I see Cyanide telling the same thing to other players and I also saw him ban a player for calling someone else fat, but says nothing to Death.

So, I thought that was bullshit and called him out on it. He decided to ban me.

I'm not fighting the ban (temp ban hopefully) because I know it wasn't the right way to handle the situation, but if such immature admins are allowed to bully people around your servers, people will just stop showing up. Word will get around really fast. I wasn't the only one in the server this time that felt this way and I know I won't be the last.

I hope you don't let bad apples tarnish your community. I've played here off and on for YEARS. I would hesitate before coming back.

For future reference, it is best to PM complaints about admins to management. Threads like this tend to turn into flame wars and are generally unproductive.
