Thread: Possible to have auto-kick/spec?

Hey just wondering would it be possible to have an auto-kick or spec move for AFK's? Happens a lot where more than 2 people are AFK at the same time and kills the server because one team will have full players and the other is short 3 and during non peak times really makes the teams unfair like 2v5 when 3 on one team are AFK? Just curios if something like this could happen.

Some people like their scores and they just went to get a drink, they would be sad to come back with a message saying Kicked.

Spectators I can agree, people spectate because they have to go but they want to keep their score.

It's a +/- for me.

Well some people spectate because they have to go do something.

The answer isn't more automation - it's more useful, dedicated, quality administrators. Automation removes the community aspect and interaction that makes NG what it is......Please bear with us, while we actively recruit dedicated individuals. If you are interested, or know someone who would be a good candidate, have a chat with one of our current admins to see how to help out!

I try to check in once an hour to move AFKs to spec. If server is full I provide 1 minute warning to join up or be kicked.. If you ever have someone who is like 5 and 130 in D2,CH,etc just message me on vent/steam and I'll come in. We definitely have some regulars who constantly go AFK due to ADD - I used to be one of them (then I talked to my doctor LOL).

Admins are in spec or in vent. Try to pm us on steam or get a hold of us in vent

I understand what you mean, I know there aren't many admins for the server currently and was just curious. I am interested in becoming an admin I just feel I need to be more active here on the forums. I've been working with Nugget on that. It's not a huge problem, can always type ff to let them know there's an afk.

Please don't kick me if I'm suddenly AFK....I got a wife and two kids that sometimes require my FULL attention....
