Thread: Admin Abuse: 1-1-09

I couldn't find the place to post about this so I'm just gonna post it here. If someone could redirect me though it would be appreciated.

Offending Admin: NG Big Daddy

Server: 24/7 Office Noob Hideout

Date & Time: 9:50 AM January 1st, 2009

Other info: ~24 players on server. My record at the time was 54-57.


There is about a minute-thirty left in the round. I had just fallen back from defending garage to push up through main office. My plan was to flank the remaining fighters at garage. I believe this would work because the people protecting them were either dead or searching through office for CTs. I had kept the garage fighters busy enough that they wouldn't be running through office either. They would be defenseless when I hit them. I drop two people on my way to my objective. The first was searching for enemies and the second was reacting to the death of the first, so I know I have a fight coming up in garage. I jump from the window overlooking backyard and get ready to attack. I hear movement in the stairwell to my right. I know that this is where I either win or lose this round. I'm ready to kill.

I get slayed. Someone says something about getting the hostages. There are 55 seconds on the clock.

My response, after the initial shock, is indignation and anger. I demand to know why I was slayed. NG Big Daddy starts telling me that I wasn't getting hostages with only a minute left in the round. I tell him that I had two choices. He tells me my only choice is to shut up. I continue through the interruption, by interrupting him, and tell him that I could have either killed the guys at garage while they're unaware, or I could go get the hostages and let them shoot me when I try to charge through garage like a retard. He responds to this, but I'm not really paying attention at this point. I finish my argument by telling him that he shouldn't have slayed me. He kicks me off the server. By the way, I didn't say any of that in a nice way. His response was pretty justified.

I come back into the server and demand to know who the admin was that kicked me. NG Big Daddy tells me that it was him and I'll be banned for reporting him. He knows hes abused his admin. I leave the server and get ready to write for an hour.


Sorry if that was long winded, but I think its important to know exactly what happened and why in situations like this. He was, quite simply, wrong. This could have been handled very easily with words, but that would've required him to admit to me that he was wrong. I believe he was unwilling to do that, and this stubbornness is what led him to abuse his power as an administrator. Thank you for taking the time to read all of this.

Do you even know who you are complaining about, you have no clue.

Why do you get off on arguing with the Admins, it they slay you DEAL WITH IT. Don't argue it will bring you to this, which your making ur self look like an ass. If you Read the MOTD YOU would know that it says dont argue with the admin and dont bitch. So this LIL case of admin abuse is a pure waste of time.

As Red said you need to read the motd for the rules of the server before complaining about getting slayed for camping. And as I told you in the server feel free to complain on the site if you have an issue with our rules before I kicked you.
