Default Noclip players, CSS Office 24/7

With an indoor map and so many players when the server gets full at nights, its nearly impossible to move and then there is that one person stopping in a doorway. I just think it would be a good idea to have players noclip into other players.

We've contemplated this many times and decided not to do it.

Just wondering on the ideology on this, you want to use no-clip or noblock? There is a significant difference between the two. Also, take into consideration, when you enable no-clip they are given god mode as well as the ability to 'no-clip' through walls therefore is considered as a cheat (only GA's and higher have access to that). Noblock is another story, this'll allow players on the same team to pass through another teammate (excludes projectile and bullets) which is the biggest downfall as players can get stuck in each other when throwing a grenade or even generate some rather weird calculations that'll goof up the round until RoundStart (watch the logs, some amazing things come from these).

If you use noblock, CPU has to generate a series of computations for every single event, that includes movement, players, environment, bullet shells, grenades, ragdoll effects, and props to see if it is an acceptable entity to be considered as a 'teammate' thats a hell of a lot of CPU stress. And already we are being undermined so the less stress the better. It may not see like a major difference at the beginning but when a server hits that 1000+ round marker, computations will slow down thus increasing latency, we just don't have any servers like EA to play on.

It's a nice idea but has been asked many times in the long road before, the idea to follow is the simplistic one: machines will never have the 'human' element, the ability to see outside the lines of code it was founded on. Human interaction will always trump the machine, until the day we get A.I. always ask for help from a human, generally get better results.
