Thread: BF3 Suggestion.

Before I found the NG bf3 server I looked at other servers to see how they were run. I've noticed several that have a rule to keep players from base camping the other team. In other words, if a team is barely able to get out of spawn before being shot. While it may seem like something to be overlooked, I've seen this cause people to leave the server. I was playing last night and half of my team left because of this. It is entirely possible for this to not become a big issue, but I figure I would draw attention to it early. I'm not sure how it would affect population in the long term. I'm just hoping it keeps players on the server.

Horseman is right, most servers had that rule even back in battlefield bad company 2 and battlefield 2. Base Raping it was called I think. I do think that this rule should be added because many players would feel too frustrated about being extremely bogged down at spawn and just going to another server.

Before someone points this out, there isn't really a way to slay people, so this will be hard to enforce. However, I've found times where I've been frustrated enough to leave because I couldn't find a way out of spawn. However, I believe this issue can help improve our quality if dealt with properly. So far it does not happen too much on our servers since most players seem to either be respectful or just too busy with other things to base rape.

Are Admions capabale of slaying for this?

I have not encountred it to much, had some guy that got that far back but he did not last long.
