Thread: admin suggestion

I bought a few wall hackers to the attention of a few admins, but they dont believe they wallhack. This tool called the admin esp is a very good tool to detect wallhackers.
It is pretty much walls for the admins whenever they die or whenever they go into spectate.

Please I really advice this tool to be used for every admin. It will help. you will know when a wallhacker is clearly tracing or pre-firing. I have seen many hackers leave the server without them even being suspected for wallhacking. this will will reduce hackers and increase players.

This seems interesting. I understand that wallhackers are long a plague of this game. Often times they hide it when they see any admin or just a player with an NG name. However, we do welcome user demos. User demos are very helpful.

The servers are run a certain way and have been run in that certain way for as long as I can remember. One person (especially when based on a fallacy that doesn't exist), cannot expect to change an entire community with one post. You voiced what you thought, which is good obviously. But when you were met with an answer that you did not like, you started to whine and bitch about how someone was hacking when they were clearly not guilty of anything in that sort. Posting this won't do anything except get you a response similar to the one you are reading right now.


If you truly feel like there is a problem with the way things are run here than I advise that you take it up with the Senior Admins or SSA's, although I highly doubt they will care for what you have to say. One opinion that is based off of something that isn't true in it of itself can't be taken seriously. Hell, bring it up at the meeting tonight and see what kind of response you get.

I understand what you are trying to do, but there are those times where you just have to bite your tongue and accept things for what they are.

Uhm, ok? If you and I read the same post, then I don't know where this is coming from. He made a simple, and in my opinion, good suggestion. I think this looks very interesting, does this exist for CS:S as well (as the video shows clips from 1.6)? Could be a great tool for admins to have for detecting wallers

Hmm, I like the concept but admins aren't hacker police. And that's what I am going to try to explain in the finest detail. We as the admins and higher ups (with the exception of Adam who's a Bruce ) are here to keep the peace and maintain the regularity of servers. We also are the guys and galls that help make the servers more fun and enjoyable to play on.

With that said, I would like to restate my point from earlier, having this will make us appear more like hacker police and that's now what we're heading towards. However, that doesn't mean this is a bad idea, I could see this being uploaded to a few servers as more of a helping hand for new recruits or something of that nature.

I do like this idea, but I'm afraid that this is not something that we will add (probably not so I'm just gonna say it now), but if you can come up with some more great ideas that'll be awesome. If you have any questions that you would like to bring up personally, either PM Stella or myself and we'll be more than happy to help you out.

Just don't be discouraged about any ideas or suggestions, that's why its here so that any player regardless if they are a hardcore regular or just someone new to bring up something that could be more interesting to the general public, so as my last statement, thanks for bringing this idea up to us.

I agree with Brenner as he mention that admin aren't hacker police and this tool will encourage admin toward being one, which is something I think we wouldn't want. That is also why we have the unofficial report section is for players who suspects wallers or any kind of hack they can take a demo themselves and submit them. As that being said I think players with Auto-Observe will be a nice tool for them to use in regards to helping the DRT easier with reviewing the demos and helping the player focus on hacker such as "name changing ones"
