Thread: 3rd office server?

Since we have a LOT of change requests being made for hideout and we have been told that adding servers won't impact our monthly costs... then why not ADD another office server?

A server with rules that people want. No block, 1 flash, autokick spec, 50 slots, votekick/ban/mute, no admins, etc....

Make a 3rd server on a trial basis. If it doesn't work then close it down.

Hideout is so popular because of the people that play there so how about you try something they request?

I think paul's post says it all but i'll chime in with my own unique insight.

1. No block is already on in both office servers.

2. Most people can't seem to play office if their aren't any flash-bangs available.

3. We have rules against kicking specs unless there's a real need to do so.

4. 50 slots? Maybe that would be nice but 44 seems like a good number for us so far.

5. Vote-kick/ban/mute? You do realize that if this was enabled that YOU, with your attitude, would probably be one of the first people to get vote-kick/ban/muted off the server?

6. No admins? I'll just go ahead and assume your joking. Ever heard of anarchy? Have you ever played with some of these people?

7. Doesn't surprise me to get a post from you like this since you don't follow the rules, disrespect admins a lot... etc. Please keep posting. We love the comedy you bring to the forums. And oh yea contribute to the community like, oh say donating to help cover the cost of this supposedly awesome third office server?

Um noblock is NOT on in hideout. The point wasn't to 'improve' hideout. It was to introduce a 3rd office server with the rules people are suggesting. If the server becomes popular then I guess the people were right, and if it fails then all these suggestions are useless.

This way we don't have to 'fix' what isn't broken i.e. not messing with hideout and still get to introduce changes.

I am not asking for a server with a rotation map. I am asking for a office server since that is the most popular map on NG. Also I have notice a spike in hideout traffic lately, so by introducing a new office server we might be able to keep that traffic instead of losing it on people having to wait to join. The other office server is no good because its all AWP all day and can't be matched with hideout

You don't think anyway so it doesn't matter bro. Obviously no admin part was a joke but the voting option needs to incorporate in this new awesome server.

No you just want a server where YOU can do whatever you want. And yes I was wrong, hideout doesn't have no block. Sorry I'm used to Crackhouse.

votekick/ban/mute leads to groups of people coming in and abusing it to wrongfully ban people or mute or kick.

Lol.
This would be one hilarious disaster.
