    Default Vent trouble

    HI guys/gals,.... need a little help as i have no idea whats goin on, i have just upgraded my hard drive and reinstaled vent, it instaled fine but every time i open it it crashes i have instaled the new codec's which some one told me to do that might help, but it did not so i am officaly stuck any more ideas?

    Are you sure you installed the correct version for your system? the 32 bit or the 64 bit?

    If you have a 64 bit processor and you installed the 64 bit one, install the 32 bit and try. Or vice versa.

    Let us know if that works

    Yeah i have the 32bit as my pc's 32bit still no luck tho

    Delete the folder associated with Ventrillo, and try a reinstall (just make sure you have the correct version).

    i think it might be time for a fully system restore and all drivers updated then. lets see if that does the job

    hmm trying unstalling and installing vent

    Right i have tryed every thing i can think of now i have even done a full system restore and it still crashes once it loads up can any one think of anything else i can do???

    system specs:
    Laptop....
    intel duelcore 2, 2.6ghz
    2gb ram
    500gb harddrive
    256mb geforce go
    windows vista 32bit

    you can try this..... Right Click vent icon > go to the properties> on target add -m..... this allows you to open multiples....open two vents... let the frist once crash, second will keep going??


    EX

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ventrilo\Ventrilo.exe" -m
    [FONT="System"]Fight with the best. Or die like the rest.[/FONT]
