To be honest, Comcast let alone any other ISP, can downgrade ur speed to any level they want. In my neighborhood, they tried to do that, but i was watching the speed go down slowly. Then they had the nerve to tell me that "We dont kno what you are referring to, sir?" So they have been known to cut speed in places before, to take heed lads!
However, if u live in a high inbound/outbound location (near a business/hospital/school) its a guarentee that it'll never be cut. But i really want to change my ISP so bad, i hate them so much.

It is not the vent server. It is your problem, I am in there all day and all night and I have never lagged out or had any problems. IT IS your computer. Yet due to my lack of computer knowledge that is all I can tell you out of observation and logic.

Later that night it was perfectly fine. Idk what is going on. When it does lag out everything else is working just fine. I'll have a friend of mine check it out.

It could be a regional and/or temporary issue with your ISP. Earlier this year my regional area was seeing a temporary issue like this.
