Thread: Another great year at NG under our belt

As another great year in NG comes to a close and 2014 just around the corner, Id like to take this time to thank all you who have stuck around with us for the many years we have been here and thank all the new people who continue to play here. We've come a long way as a community and gone through the ups and downs as many people do in their life, but we continue to thrive and keep on moving forward with our great community. We've hit some major milestones this year in NG, from 5 months straight of hitting our target donation goal (never before done) and now going on 10 years of success while countless others have failed. Lets start 2014 our strong and good things will come to you guys .

I'd like to thank Adam and Stella for all their continued hard work and dedication and countless hours spent doing behind the scenes work that 99% of the community doesn't see or know about. I think sometimes people lose sight of the fact that this is a 100% volunteer community and non of us are getting paid to do anything here and we do the work needed because we enjoy it and want to provide the best place possible for all our players.

I would also like to thank Egg and Nugget for their continued hard work with various things around our community. Even with a smaller group of higher up admins, everybody has stepped up to help with more things and it is very much appreciated. Also like to thank all the current and some former admins for their continued hard work in keeping the servers going and building the population in our servers. I know sometimes it can be a pain to deal with all the trolls, spammers, racists, crazy people who join up, but you guys do a great job handling it.

And last but certainly not least, I'd like to give a huge shout out to our current and future donators, without you amazing guys/gals, we would not still be here and I cannot express in words how grateful I am for you guys donating your hard earned money to keep your favorite community around. You guys rock !! Without our awesome community, we are nothing, you guys continue to surprise me in how generous and dedicated you guys can be to Noob Galore.

Lets finish this year out strong and hit that donation goal, making it 6 times in a year, and finish off the year strong! I know we can do it and I'm sure we will hit it by the end of the weekend!


Great work on another year down, lets drink some beers and celebrate and see you all next year!

Very nice! I look forward to another year. I've been hanging around for about 7 years. Wow. Time flies. I may be generally quiet, but NG has been a big part of my life and will continue to be for years to come.
