Thread: Peace and quite

If you're like me and you enjoy some peace and quite without any annoying people on the mic or even just avoiding trolls from the in-game chatbox these console commands might be useful for you.

voice_enable 0 <-- for people on the mic but most of us know this

hud_saytext_time 0 <-- disables the chatbox from appearing. You can still chat if you want but you'd have to read the msgs from console or when you are in the process of typing (pressing U or Y)

I miss the ability to phase out sometimes, rarely did I, but the choice was there if I chose. If I'm playing now, eyes open, ears open; sentinel of Hideout, hear me roar.

Also if you disable voice via that command, it will not re-enable until you rejoin the server. If you don't want to lose your score, you can always bind (voice_scale 0) and (voice_scale 1) to their own buttons to toggle your receive voice on the fly

voice_scale 0 + ignorerad = play in peace, use headset and dominate the server.
