That means that ventrilio found the server that you are trying to connect but is having problems connecting. Probably due to router or a firewall not liking that port being open. I have that same problem when im at college and they have absolutely NO PORTS OPEN TO CONENCT TO THE OUTSIDE that also includes steam's games and WOW players at my college. Ask around ur house to who ever created ur network to see if you can open a port for your vent to connect to the outside world.
Thats what i believe, im not entirely sure if that really is the case.
