Thread: sv_pure

Have you guys ever thought about putting sv_pure on your servers it would stop from most of the people hacking and it would be more fair. I no people use skins and if you have sv_pure on it would block those skins but there are a lot of people who hack on your servers and I am sure you wanna stop them from doing it but at the same time I no you wanna have people to be able to use there skins.

No we have NEVER thought of that in the entire existance of ng.

Seriously though it would have too big of an impact on server traffic. It would turn away a ton of new players who are experimenting with skins and they would just move on to another server to play instead of ours. We have admins to deal with issues if needed, but hackers arent really THAT big of a deal, even with all the skins being allowed.
