I'm baffled by how exactly an issue that was resolved less than a few minutes after it happen hurt NG? Why would that stagnate donations? If anything, that should encourage donations, for the quick speed in resolvingwhat could have been a major pain in the ass for players. We did it immediately and with zero need for anyone to be requesting to be unbanned......Can we at least get a half a pat on the back once in awhile here?

Too many people lately are loosing sight of what NG is, and how NG came to be. NG is not a 'right' left here by some billionaire. This is a privilege for every one of us, and should always in the back of everybodies minds. Wherever the notion that we gain anything by doing this came from; it can and should be swept away immediately. We gain NOTHING but the same things you gain. That being said; Everybody should be putting in their helping hand and spending a little bit each day increasing exposure and interaction.

Expecting things to happen with no one willing to help isn't going to get us anywhere. If you guys enjoy playing on Valve ran servers, then I guess continue on the current course. If you enjoy the customizations, and the community that surrounds NG then stop NOT helping, and simply spend 5-10 minutes a day doing something FOR NG. The time it took you to write this response, which is basically without merit, could have been spent inviting a couple friends on over or to generate a new thread, which in turn helps the community and allows you to have a more enjoyable time.

We really gotta get the 'CORPORATE' idea out of your minds and get everybody on course remembering NG is RAN, and FUNDED by *EVERYONE* here.......So if we don't help, and we dont fund, it doesn't exist.......The negative energy and negative comments need to stop and become replaced with positive energy, and productive posts---not just complaints.

This doesn't mean we don't need criticism, however, it needs to be constructive and not destructive.

This is not the only problem Hideout has had in a while. That being said, this incident pushed me away from donating. The lack of admins doesn't help. Constant rule breaking in Hideout. I do not want to invite people to Hideout because I know they wouldn't stay because of what I said before. Lack of admins who do anything and the mic spamming drove a couple of my buddies out of Hideout. I want to introduce people to NG. When I talked about CS on other games, I do mention Hideout, because over the last few years, my experience has been overally good. These last few months however, I cannot even play w/o some sort of rule breaking player.

I am willing to help the best way I can. Sorry if my posts made NG sound like trash, that was not my intention.

NG has been faced with this uphill battle of admins / people that claim to be too busy with life but after they leave have the time to hang around EVERY DAY causing grief. How we get blamed for taking action against some of them, is beyond me.

That said, you've been on the Forums since May of 2012, have 7 posts and have NEVER donated. If you'd like to help then help. Talking about it, doesn't help us much.

Pretty much what he said -- If this is what swayed you from donating recently, what swayed you in the past? We need people to assist in helping, we cannot add new admins if nobody steps forward and actually commits to HELPING!.. As Paul said, for whatever reason, a significant amount of recent admins apply, then 2 days later are nowhere to be found. If you really do want to help, generate some new threads, get your friends on the boards and in the servers -- maybe they will enjoy the server and want to help out. The more players that actually DO take that step forward and HELP, we could easily and quickly rebuild our admin team.

Let me be perfectly clear, if people remain unwilling to help and shy away from doing anything beneficial, I will have no option but to shut the doors. Please think about this logically and understand this isn't a power trip or anyone trying to say were this or that. I'm being extremely level headed with the community, and have been forthcoming from the get go. The reason for that is because I am asking for the communities HELP in FIXING that issue. We are/were built by a community of dedicated individuals -- We all have our daily lives, but 99% of us can spend 10-15 minutes a day assisting with something positive for the community.

No excuses......Let's go!
