VOTE: Remove no-block timer and add AFK Manager

Only 17 more votes lol.. We can do it!

I did some research and went on other D2 servers with no no-block and there were no problems, no complaints, nothing. nog told me that people awping in T spawn might cause blocking problems but that was non-existant in those busy servers that I went to.

I also looked at the plugins that they have enabled and again there were no problems but I'm not going to mention which servers they were lol!

i agree... not sure how i missed this thread for so long. no block timer is a pain in the ass. used to spend the whole time slapping players free. just turn block on as d2 is so big there is no issues. you can get out of spawn fast enough. we need the afk manager or to recruit more solid d2 admins as well.

if people are worried about a blocking issue, why not just implement no block all the time and then you dont have to ever worry about it?

An afk manager is a good idea, but not at the expense of the server stability. It an afk manager is tested and works 100% with no issues, I would like to see it implemented on the servers. Then the problem is with the steam updates. I feel like issues will occur with every steam update... just something to think about.

There are always issues with the css update with sourcemod as a whole but they have been very quick in updating it in the past... im not an expert on sourcemod but the plugins i believe are compatible with the update to sourcemod... and if it isnt, afk manager is very popular and there would definitely be an updated plugin. the worst that would happen is the plugin just wouldnt start when valve does a css update

AFK manager is almost a must. people sit in the server for 50 + rounds afk and that is annoying as hell.

Please add the AFK Manager. The last 4 days that I have been in the server someone joins and just goes AFK immediately or a couple rounds in, then will be afk for at least 10+ rounds...
