Thread: Noob Galore Dust2 Server Gameplay Tips

Hello everyone! Since I'm not gonna be able to play much of Counterstrike Source at the Noob Galore Dust2 Server, I would like to share some gameplay tips that have served me well in my gaming career. Please note that the following gameplay tips may or may not be applicable or helpful to some players. Everybody has different techniques and ideas on how to do well and enjoy in this game. The most important thing is to have fun, since life can be boring, stressful, or depressing sometimes. That is why having a wonderful server like Noob Galore is really awesome for people of any age, sex, nationality, ethnicity, religion, etc.

Feel free to adopt or even derive the following gameplay tips for your own benefits. Good luck fellas!

Gameplay Tip 1:

As a CT in the Noob Galore Dust2 Server, your best weapon is your responsibility to play defense, which is a lot easier than attacking. Guerilla warfare is the key, which means use your own surroundings to your advantage. For example, the boxes at the B bombsite is a killer hiding place against surging Ts from Tunnel B. Use sniper rifles like the AWP or SCOUT to deter rushes and protect the B bombsite. Once you have mastered the art of shoot and hide in such area, your KPD ratio can improve to atleast 2 to 1!

Gameplay Tip 2:

One of the toughest responsibilities for any CT in the Noob Galore Dust2 Server is to defend Long A against massive T rushes. Fortunately, there is an ingenious way to solve this challenge. Use the SG550 autosniper in order to have powerful multiple shots at surging Ts who are entering the little door opening at Long A. One can either use the position by the platform next to the pit or use the sloped geometry of the pit itself as a hiding place. This technique requires a lot of patience but it should be appreciated since it provides your teammates the peace of mind pertaining to the safety of Long A.

Gameplay Tip 3:

As a T in the Noob Galore Dust2 Server, your objective is to plant the bomb and not camp your spawn after 1:30. There is the idea that immediate massive T rushes will always automatically win your team a specific bomb site. Such notion is not always true especially against CT platoons who are experts in defending bombsites with flashbangs and proper granade stacks. A smart alternative option for planting the bomb is to organize a delay rush. A group of 5 to 10 Ts can meet and wait in a specific spot until a certain time prior to 1:30. When the time of execution arrives, the lead T attacker, usually the most skilled rusher in the group, throws the only flashbang in order to confuse the defending CTs. This window of opportunity will enable the group of Ts to take over a specific entry to the CT side. Ts can support such rush with snipers and massive granade attacks.

Gameplay Tip 4:

Defending Bombsite A as a CT is no easy task especially if the defender is not very good with the AWP sniper riffle. A revolutionary technique can be employed using the underrated PARA. Ts usually rush Bombsite A around 1:30 so as a CT, wait in the corner of the Bombsite A platform and listen for footsteps. In addition, take good advantage of the screen radar to see any red dots incoming. When the horde of rushing Ts gets close to the Bombsite A platform, throw a flashbang over the wall in order to blind the rushers. Then surge with a blazing PARA by aiming at the feet of Ts in oder to compensate for recoils. Reset the low aim every 3 seconds to maintain lock on the targets. When advancing, make sure to check for hiding Ts at the right box of the Bombsite A platform.

Gameplay Tip 5:

There is a notion that being a T in the Noob Galore Dust2 Server is all about attacking. It is important to know that defense is also a key strategy for Ts against aggressive CT rushers. One of the main areas that require defense for Ts is Tunnel B. It is critical that CTs do not take over such breaking point in order to protect other Ts from devastating flanks at T spawn. Use the boxes in Tunnel B as a cover spot for sniping with the AWP or SCOUT, or implement P90 mini rushes with flashbangs everytime the CTs try to advance in Tunnel B.
