Thread: Dust2 activity these days?

hey guys how come on the week evening there is like 5 vs 5 or even less in the dust2 server?

Used to be full...

cuz im not there i work nights ....jk i wouldnt know really
pretty full in the mornings tho

also plenty in there around midnight to 4 am

I was gonna make a thread about this like a week ago. I too have noticed the activity level drop at certain times. It's pretty random when it happens. It's as if one person leaves, the rest follow.

I just wonder why this has been happening lately.. It makes me play office and I hate office.

a thread about this kinda stuff is not necessary.
if you notice the servers activity level dropping just take another initiative and invite more people

agreed. and usually its fine on those times just recently its been a little slow but the D2 server doesn't take anytime to fill up

Oh I know. There have been several times where I have joined the server while it was empty and just waited for people. I usually alt-tab out and get on here and post. But lately I have found myself in office to pass time though.

This is exactly what needs to happen..It seems as if one person leaves then everyone else does because thats what happens -- The traffic will fluctuate a bit, but if you leave because its 10 v10, then another person leaves, then its 9v9 and then 2 more go and so on....The trick is to stay in there, and interact with the players -- At a low player count you need to make it personable so the other players feel like hanging around and not going elsewhere.. After 30 minutes of this and keeping the peace in the server it will fill.... On purpose, more than a few occasions this past week I have hopped in Dust2 when it was nearly empty and had atleast 10v10 within 20 minutes.... Like he said, takes initiative and everybody spreading the word!... Our community sometimes forgets that it takes work to keep people coming and playing here and new players learning where we are at---If we don't do it and just sit here, were gonna end up with empty servers .... THEY DON'T FILL THEMSELVES!!!

Lets all do some proactive work in the next couple weeks and get that server bumpin again

As Adam said - Give the Server some lovin and the Server will fill up !
