Thread: Admins always afk in spec

I was just wondering if there is a way so if an admin has been afk in spec for hours/days if votekick/ban would be allowed.

When I play in the morning/early afternoon before my classes there is always an admin afk and no one active to be found. There is always some blatantly speed/aimbotter (not talking about suspecting a wallhacker I can deal with that), with nothing anyone in the server can do about it. Also kicking people who have been afk for 2 hours and are 0-112 can't be done with admins afk in spectate.

If y'all could allow for votekicks while admins are on the server or at least just disconnect before you decide to go to sleep or whatever, the regulars of the server would greatly appreciate it!

You will only find it hard to find an admin in the early hours of the morning. My advice is for you to get in vent and check if and admin is available. I am normally around Monday - Friday when the rest are asleep.

If I am AFK just leave me a message and I will get in as soon as possible. So please get in Vent and ask one of our GA's, SA's or SSA's to set you up.

Ravi is right... the best way to find an admin is on vent if you need an issue dealt with.

or ask in Chatbox for a Admin

yeah either ways these guys said works perfectly fine .... always an admin on vent or in chatbox .... id recommend adding the admins from the list of admins on here...i forget the link but just do a search for it .... vent is always helpful...chatbox it may take a lil bit for someone to get to it but not always...usually get someone into the server within a minute or two

They idle the servers for a lot of reasons, one being so that someone who gets pissed off cant just votekick or voteban someone for the hell of it.

We are currently working on a system also that will allow donators to bypass our master ban list, and issue temporary bans to keep server motivation going in those wee hours that someone might not be around. We do our best to fill those time slots with quality admins, so if you ever have anyone in mind let them know we are looking!

so to answer kev's question about getting rid of hackers when no admins are available we put a plugin to move afk ppl to spec. makes sense to me!
